Points for Engagement

You may be thinking, “all of these features are great, but how do we get our entire team to use this platform?” Well, thank you for asking...We are able to encourage a lot of engagement by using a badge and points system. Points are given to employees for every engagement they have with the site. Points are rewarded for actions like logging in, liking a post, commenting on a post/announcement completing a training module etc. and may be custom tailored to your specific needs. Typically points will look a little something like this: 50 points for logging in for the day, 25-50 points for viewing a post (depending on post importance), 100 points to watch a video, etc. Points are awarded once per day, per action, and for viewing a “post/announcement”, employees only get points one time for the life of the post. Points are also dynamic, meaning if they like a post and get points, then unlike it, the points are deducted. Each point represents a dollar value that you determine. In addition, the point value for each action is set by you. Points and may be redeemed within the “Rewards Store”.

Employees Can “Purchase” Rewards Using Points Earned

In order for employees to redeem points earned, we create an e-commerce style store that employees may use to “purchase” various items using their points as currency. For most companies, we create branded items to “sell” in the store along with gift cards, etc. for purchase with employee points. An example we have used with past clients, 100 points equals $1 and an employee has 5,000 engagements points that equals $50. We create and offer in the “Rewards Store” a Yeti tumbler with the company logo and company information on the tumbler and the employee can “purchase” the company tumbler with their 5000 points they have earned through engagement. This is a very effective tool that encourages employee engagement, and “rewards” each employee for being involved with the company!

Badges for Engagement

onuplace badgesin addition to points, employees will earn badges from their engagement that can be seen by other employees on their profile. This encourages competition with their involvement. We have found this drives up engagement as people become “badge leaders”. We also have “leader boards” for sales representatives, etc to encourage additional competition. This shows other employees what is “possible” and encourages better performance. Badges may be earned by: completing training modules, watching a certain number of videos, like a certain number of posts/announcements etc. All of these actions are customizable to your company to receive the best possible engagement from your employees and managers.

Robust Document Management System

online document management systemIn addition to training, communication and engagement, we feel it is vitally important for each company to have any sales material, procedural material or HR documents available to ensure employee success. So we have created a document management system that is like other popular document management systems...ahem (rhymes with PopRocks)...but so much more customizable. The way we set it up for most clients is we have their sales or employee material set up in categories, then the employees can go in and download any document they need at any time. It is fully searchable, so they can search keywords or titles to pull up any document, and we can add actual thumbnails to each document in order to have a visual before you download to ensure they have exactly what they need while in the field or in the office.

Print Material Ordering

onuplace print material For employees who need to order printables (ie: sales sheet, leave behinds, etc), we utilize an intercompany “e-commerce” style system for employees to order materials needed that are stocked by their back office team. We are able to design and print any materials needed for your company, then the main office can keep these printables stocked for the sales or marketing team to order as needed and pick up from the main office or ship them directly to the employee. This makes it easy to track item inventory, along with what items are used most frequently and what items may need to be revised due to the lack of ordering.

Forms, forms and more forms

OnuPlace web forms If all of this weren't enough, we also offer a robust forms system, where we can create any type of form needed. Some examples of these forms can include any intake forms for new employees, any forms the company may need to email their customers to be filled out, any review forms, opening and closing checklists, etc. Literally the sky is the limit on what can be created for capturing the information you need for your company to be the most productive. Once completed and submitted, the form data is sent to an email address specified by you and saved to a database for quick future recall and aggregation.
